Huckleberry Music Camp believes musical education is furthered by having
a balanced approach involving recreational and social activities. Therefore,
a number of recreational activities are available with some being
scheduled and organized by camp staff.
Sports and Boating

The campgrounds contain a basketball court, two tennis courts, and a volleyball
court for use by the patrons. Water tubes, rowboats, paddleboats, canoes
and motorboats are also available and can be booked out. Use of
canoes, paddleboats, and rowboats are complementary. The campgrounds also
have over 400 acres of hiking trails for use by the students and parents.
Organized hiking activities are also available. The camp contains a
cordoned off swimming area for water sports and swimming.
Gaming

The main lodge has a game room with a ping-pong table and many
board games. It is not unusual to find students having a
serious game of Risk or Monopoly in the evenings after a music
filled day. Organized arts and crafts activities for
young children take place in the game room daily.
Social Activities

There are numerous social activities planned by the camp staff.
A talent night, waltz night, and a treasure hunt. Students gather
by the campfire at night to enjoy some roasted marshmallows
and sing songs.
